SCHWING Stetter India, one of the pioneers of concrete construction equipment manufacturer& supplier in India, today announced that V. G. Sakthikumar, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Schwing Stetter has been appointed as Co-chairperson, Mechanization Committee for the year 2012-13 by Builders' Association of India (BAI) - an All India Association of Engineering Construction Contractors. In this new role, Sakthikumar will act as a catalyst for the construction industry.

V. G. Sakthikumar, COO, Schwing Stetter said, "It is a great honour to be asked to take on this post. With increasing globalisation and the need to solve the grand challenges facing a developing economy, the work and functions of the BAI and its members are going to become even more important than in the past. I believe that my skill set will make a substantial contribution to BAI's 'Vision 2016' plan for growth."
